Philip H. Otto
Philip has been designing innovative systems for retail and living for over 20 years — beginning with his work at the Headlands Center for the Arts crafting spaces for artists Ann Hamilton, Andres Serrano and David Ireland. With a degree from Stanford in Cultural Anthropology, an MA in Human Development from Pacific Oaks College and MFA from San Francisco Art Institute — Phil brings a uniquely humanistic approach to all of his work — creating truly memorable environments and experiences for clients all over the globe.
Karen is a designer and artist with a BA from Columbia University, where she studied with Lorna Simpson, Richard Tuttle, and Kiki Smith, and an MFA from the University of California, Santa Barbara, where she taught in the Studio Art Department. Her background in journalism and visual media has taken Karen to the Webby Awards and the co-founding of Massif Management amongst other adventures in publishing and photography.
Alan is an ideas-focused Architect with over 15 years of realizing widely published, exhibited and award-wining projects. He is a hands-on, seasoned veteran of strategic permitting, systems integration, and design-build practices. Alan is an Adjunct Thesis Advisor at Art Center College of Design.
Blaire, trained as an architect at the University of Southern California, has spent the last 9 years working in the field in a combination of full service mixed use, hospitality, retail and commercial projects. Notable work includes designer for Isaac Mizrahi’s first ever stand alone store concept, interior renovations of Fashion Show Mall in Las Vegas and several LEED projects that have been awarded Gold and Platinum ratings.
