IT House: Prefabrication System
The IT House is a rapid-assembly design system that better controls construction waste, labor, and quality of the finished product. The house is designed to maximize relationship of the occupant to the landscape while minimizing the impact on delicate site conditions. Extreme energy efficiency is achieved through passive strategies with radiant floor heating, efficient lighting and appliances powered entirely by solar photovoltaic and thermal panels.
Otto Design Group's Design Director, Alan Koch co-created the award-winning prefab design as founding partner at Taalman Koch Architecture.Graphic design vinyl decals custom designed with artists Sarah Morris and Liam Gillick.
