CHAPMAN COURT

Bringing a Piece of History into the Present

koreatown, los angeles

An iconic building, featuring Spanish Revival and Churrigueresque architecture, Chapman Court was constructed in 1928 during the city’s Golden Age and remains a crowning jewel in the center of Koreatown. We were lucky to be able to partner in the revitalization of this historic landmark, creating the overall site branding and collateral, naming, signage, and graphic identity.

Koreatown, well known for its restaurants, cafés, karaoke bars, spas and beautiful buildings has become an inspired destination for travelers, discerning foodies, cultural creators and curious visitors alike. This 45,000 square feet of creative office and retail space provides an alluring enclave amidst a rapidly-evolving metropolitan center.

"Though Koreatown is the site for a lot of new developments, it also has a solid base of great old buildings, especially Art Deco gems, scattered across the neighborhood. The Chapman Plaza is certainly one of these.” - CURBED LA
